Back in Kathmandu

I arrived safely back in Kathmandu a few hours ago. It rained a little this morning here so it's even a bit cooler than usual. So, when I stepped off the plane, after being in 115 degree heat for 10 days, it was heavenly. Seriously, one of the best feelings I've ever had. My body has been somewhat sensitized to such heat at this point that I may never sweat again. We'll see.

I was delighted to see my little host family again, and their house is now even busier than before. There are 3 more guests staying here, which will make things livelier and more entertaining.

Since I haven't really had any time off since I got to Nepal, I'm thinking about doing a little less working and a little more sightseeing for the next few days. Then it's back home! I leave for the US in 3 short days. I've had a great time and valuable experiences, but I'm definitely ready to come home.
