Insulation

We passed our electrical, plumbing, and framing inspections. Next up is insulation and sheet rock. All the windows are in and the brick is going up quickly. 

Making their mark

We let the kids make their mark on the house. They got to write their names in the walls of their rooms. They loved it. One more step to making it their own. 

Camping at Petit Jean

We took the kids on their second tent camping trip. This time we ventured a little further to Petit Jean State Park. We went with our friends the Hruby’s. It was perfect weather and great family/friend time. I love making outdoor memories like these. The kids were able to make the hike to cedar falls. That experience was worth the hike! 

Roof, Plumbing, and Electrical

The house has a roof. Electrical and plumbing are finishing up this week. Our brick arrived and will be laid next week. Before we know it the walls will be covered with sheetrock. I’ve picked out tile and flooring. Next on my list is choosing light fixtures.
