And He's Off

Miles gave me the gift of his mobility for Mother's Day. Yesterday morning, Grant and I were in the bedroom and Miles was on the floor. One moment he was laying there and the next he was crawling. And we both were there to see it! I am both excited and quite nervous about this new skill. Guess I have to keep an even closer eye on him now.

10 years and 100,000 miles

My Camry celebrated its 10th birthday and turned 100,000 miles. This has been the most amazing car. I still feel like she has many miles ahead of her. Go Camry go!

Austin Visit

While Grant jetted off to Ghana for an international ophthalmology trip, Miles and I escaped to Austin. We had such a wonderful time together with Mimi and got to visit lots of friends and family. This trip was much needed after all the intense house selling and buying. I think I might have finally caught my breath on this trip.

The only person I somehow didn't get a picture with was Kathy. We had a wonderful visit together and went to the Farmers Market. I guess we were too busy talking to snap a picture.

1015 N. Monroe, Little Rock, AR 72205

That is the address to our new home in Little Rock. After looking at over 20 homes in four days, we found the most perfect place. We are so in love with this property. Hopefully this will be our home for many, many years to come. We close the end of May. This house is located in the Hillcrest neighborhood. Grant has about a five minute drive to work, and we can walk to the grocery store and lots of shops and restaurants.

Wedding, house, and sinus infection

I don't really remember April at all. It was a total blur. We accomplished so much, but it went by way too quickly. In April, we traveled to Little Rock for Soroush and Leia's wedding. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by loving family. The other big task we accomplished on this trip was finding and buying a house! This definitely deserves its own blog post that will be coming soon. On top of all that, I got a terrible sinus infection on the trip.

After arriving home from the Little Rock trip, we had three days to unpack and then repack. Grant headed to Ghana and Miles and I went to Austin (we will post about these trips separately too). Again, this is really all a blur. And since that wasn't really enough to fit into April, we also sold and closed on our condo. We now officially don't own a house! (For the next few weeks at least).

Now it is time to relax and enjoy our last six weeks in Salt Lake City. We are planning lots of park trips, hikes, and visiting with friends. It sure will be hard to say goodbye.
