Road trippin'

It has been THREE years since I was in Austin. How did that happen? I decided it was time to travel back to my hometown and experience some Texas heat. I did most of the trip solo (with the kids of course), with some driving help from Millie and Grant. It was 10 days of amazing visits with lifelong friends. 

Watching your kids play with your friends kids is just an amazing feeling. The pictures tell it all. 

Blocks

We have footings and blocks! Next will be hauling in dirt to fill up the area that will have the slab. It's definitely nice to have some idea of where the house sits on the land.
