Med school ten-year reunion

No way...10 years since Grant finished medical school? Impossible. We had a great time connecting with old friends and hosting some of our besties. 

Kindergarten and Pre-K 3

This was a big year...new school, new friends, and Miles being at school all day. Pulaski Academy has been a great fit so far and the kids love it. I definitely felt emotional about Miles starting kindergarten. It’s the start of a whole new chapter of grade school life. 

We carpool to school with the Hruby’s so my minivan has transformed into a school bus! 

Family bike ride

We can all finally ride bikes well enough to hit the trail. This weekend we ventured to two rivers for a family ride. It was burning up outside, but we all had fun. It was a glimps into the next phase of family activities. 

Also note that my bike is still my original 1997 trek that I bought with hard earned babysitting money. 

Mid America Science Museum

Millie and I took the kids down to Hot Springs to go to the Mid America Science Museum. We spent the day exploring the exhibits, digging for Dino bones, and crawling through a man made cave. 

Play time

Summertime has included pasta making, pool trips, lizard catching, baseball games, and dress up fun. The kids are in such a fun phase of playing independently with friends. We are lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful playmates. 

Summer fun

One week left of summer. We have packed in a lot of fun, balanced out with lots of downtime at home. We just went on a little overnight trip to Hot Springs. The kids loved Magic Springs and even went on some rides. We ended the weekend with a day on the lake with the Strongs.
