Tuesdays are fun

Why you might ask? Because Tuesday is basketball day with my department. I am the only girl that plays, and I do hold my own on the court. I have been a surprise competitor for the boys. We have a court across the street behind our building. B-ball has been great cross training for my half marathon this month.

And last Tuesday was a bonus. My boss cooked us all breakfast! How can a Tuesday get much better than that?

Don't get too worried about our busy schedules. We have still managed to have some fun here and there.

Grant's b-day party...a month ago

Alright, I am now writing a post that should have been uploaded a month ago. Not cool. Please find it in your heart to forgive me.

Here is part of the reason why. Yes, we have been pretty tired from being over worked. Bill has been tired too.

Grant and one of his co-workers, Paul, had a joint birthday party last month. Paul decided to cook a seafood paella (a Spanish rice and meat dish) on the rooftop of his condo. It was certainly a feast. We cooked enough food to serve 70 people, but alas, only 30 showed up. More leftovers for us!
