Thanksgiving in Dallas

We traveled to Dallas for Thanksgiving. We went to visit the Cross family and Brandon, Diana, and Chloe. It was so fun to cook with family and of course EAT! The kids all played together beautifully.

Fall in Little Rock

The time from Halloween to Christmas always flies by and this year is no different. Here are some photos of our shenanigans.

Showing off her outfit made by Mama Aziz.

Helping me in the kitchen.
Staring contest while brushing teeth.

Attending the World Cheese Dip Competition. It was hard work.

My shopping list these days. Wine and baby food. Ha ha.

My little chef and shopper.

Playground fun.

My very first trip away from the kids (yes, a trip alone!) was to visit my best friend Leah in Fayetteville. She just bought her first home with her hubby Peter and it was time for me to get the official tour. In true Leah style, she provided a perfect weekend. Her house is beautiful and already looks fully decorated and settled. Leah also took me to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art which has been on my "to see" list for a few years. It was stunning. Time to plan another Fayetteville trip.

Mimosas for the house tour.

Shopping on the square.

Yummy home-cooked vegetarian meal.

The park right near her house.

Miles enjoyed another session of soccer. He only participates about half the time, but he sure likes it.

Snacks and soccer watching.

Our nephew Andrew turned THREE! He had a basketball themed party. Mickey even showed up!

Miles has LOVED his school, St. Mark's. He is always so happy to go and has great stories from his time there. He is growing every day!

Halloween with our Bugs

We had a little butterfly and a very hungry caterpillar for halloween this year. Miles really understood the candy eating aspect of trick-or-treating this year.

Our best attempt at a family shot.

Painting a pumpkin.

Practicing his flight.

From a caterpillar to a butterfly.

Hugs for Amoo and Ameh at the Halloween carnival.

Look at him fly!

Ameh and Nana holding the babies.

Time for trick-or-treating.

Cocktails for the adults at the annual Strong Halloween party.

Miles worked on handing out candy at Aaron and Anna's house.
The costumes were so much fun at Halloween and Grant decided to build the kids a dress up station. Now we have a place for all the costumes. He even added a light. The kids LOVED it.
