Micronesia

Grant had the opportunity to go on a medical mission trip to the island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. He went along with a group from the Moran Eye Center, where he did residency and fellowship training. There are no ophthalmologists in this entire country, so there are a lot of people in need of basic eye surgeries! In a week, the team that Grant was a part of saw over 400 patients and did over 140 surgeries.

Third Annual Berry Picking Day

We ventured into the wild world of berry picking again this summer. This is the third year we have been to Wye Mountain Berry Farm. So, this must mean it's an official tradition. We had a big group this year....8 adults and 8 kids (Millie, Shooks, Millers, and Hrubys). Miles was in berry heaven.

Molly's first berry picking.

Focused on eating as many berries as possible.

Mouth full of berries.

Finding ripe blueberries is hard work.

This was mostly what Miles did the entire time.

Austin dreaming of blueberries.

He wasn't interested in picture taking when berries were waiting to be eaten.

Stella hug.

Blueberry boys.

Examining a worm.

Boyhood...berry picking and worm watching.

Andrew cooling off on the swing.

Big brother kisses.
