Brandon and Teresa Visit

Brandon and Teresa came out to visit sans kids. Yes, a vacation for just the adults. This was the first trip they have taken without the kids. But don't worry, Lucas and Elayna had fun too. We Skyped with them one night and Lucas could barely catch his breath as he explained what they had done that day.

B&T had a horrible time getting out here...thanks Continental! After a surprise night in Houston due to a Continental screw up, they finally arrived. An hour after being in SLC, Teresa and I headed off to get pedicures to help Teresa enter vacation mode.

The next day we spent up in Park City. We did all the normal Park City touristy things.

At the Olympic Park overlook.

Little did Teresa know that she would be skiing on this trip.

Brandon went back in time and ran with the Olympic torch.

After walking up and down Main Street, Teresa's foot swelled up pretty bad.

Vacation gelato!
We walked all around Red Butte Gardens while Grant was at work.

Snake wrangler.

Dinner at Fiddler's Elbow.
Friday night we went to a double feature at the drive in movies. We saw Horrible Bosses and Bad Teacher. I was amazed that we all stayed awake past 1:00 a.m.

Sunday was a full day at Snowbird Ski Resort. They have a ton of summer activities: alpine slide, zip line, bungy trampoline, climbing wall, mechanical bull, and tram ride.

We had a picnic lunch up at the resort.

Grant flipping on the trampoline.

View from the tram.

At the top of the tram.

Yes, there is still snow up there!

About to get bucked off.
We took a hike up desolation trial to admire the view.

The trip wasn't long enough, but we were able to pack in lots of fun. We hope Brandon and Teresa left feeling recharged and ready for normal life again.
