The other day, I mentioned to Grant that I would love some built-in shelves in the kitchen for all my cookbooks. Well, a week later, they were installed and ready to go. Is this one of those lessons in "ask and you shall receive"? If so, then I am going to start asking more often! Grant used this project as a practice round for the big built-in desk project he is taking on in the loft. I would say he is ready!

Now I have a lot more counter-top space as well. I wish Grant had more time off to do home projects. They are so gratifying.

Those shelves look great! Brian keeps saying he'll redo our pantry shelves but it's been almost a year... and still nothing.
