Our summer concert series continued with Lyle Lovett and James Taylor and Carole King. Who could resist those three? We saw Lyle at the Red Butte Garden. It was a sold out show, but somehow we still got pretty good seats.
The very next night, we saw James Taylor and Carole King on their Troubadour reunion world tour. We shelled out the big bucks and had seats on the floor. They had a rotating stage that didn't allow for very good non-flash photos. Just take our word, those two glowing people are James and Carole. And these photos were taken with NO zoom. We were really that close.
And the set list was everything you could have imagined. I got to hear most of my favorites off the Tapestry album.
