Janarama

This past week, Jan came to visit. The weather has been amazing (sorry to those who are in the midst of summer heatwaves - it is still in the 60's at night here!) so we mostly took advantage of some great outdoor activities. Poor Grant missed most of them because he had a rough work week. It was the last week of his second year of residency, and it was a doozy. He worked a solid 80 hour week.



Grant did get to enjoy a great Bees game.



I took Monday off of work and Jan and I went on a hike to Donut Falls. This hike is up in Big Cottonwood Canyon near some of the ski resorts. The snow runoff made this hike cool and picturesque.





The water was too high to actually see the "donut" where the water runs through a hole in the rock. But the hike was still lovely.



On Friday, Jan and I took another hike to Stewart Falls. This hike was located right near Sundance resort in American Fork, UT. It was stunning and ended at an amazing waterfall.
