Last year, my position at work was expanded to include advertising. It has definitely made for more responsibility and quite a bit of overtime, but the result is well worth it. This week, I finished a multi-channel ad campaign that includes TV, radio, outdoor (billboards), transit (bus wraps), online, and print. This project started back in May and has taken almost all my time at work.
Below are the four TV spots that are at the core of the campaign. I am really proud of the final product. Through extensive market research, we learned that the characteristics that are most important to individual purchasers include: trust, value, and simplicity. To speak to these points and develop an emotional connection with the audience, we used a testimonial-style campaign that features actual members.
