I was definitely rollin' with my homies this past weekend in West Palm Beach Florida. It has been a little over four years since I graduated from college, and it was about time to get the college girls back together. We decided to meet up in Florida because one of our friends, Shelby, is living there for a year of medical school. And that is how Floridapalooza 2009 was born. Six girls, Allison, Vanessa, Kathy, Leah, Shelby, and me, all together again.
As you can imagine, most of the weekend was made up of catching up, remembering college stories, and making some new memories. We ate a lot, and danced a lot, and slept very little. We stayed out extremely late each night...we are talking 4 in the morning! After a few nights of this type of lifestyle, we all came back home and developed colds. I don't think we can party like we used to. Does that mean we are getting old?
Some highlights from the trip...
1. Sitting on the beach with our picnic lunch, listening to old school rap, and fanning through magazines
2. Drinking wine on the pier
3. Dancing with a big group of girls
4. Remembering what it was like to get ready to go out with a bunch of girls
5. Eating birthday cake for breakfast
6. Swimming in the roof-top pool at 5 a.m.!
And as I am writing this, it is making me miss the girls all over again.

I remember that line!!! And Brittany Murphy did the little hand dance with it!! West Palm Beach...woo woo! I hear it's a pretty swanky place! I hope you are all over the colds now!
