Escape to the South

Last weekend I escaped to the South to visit Areta in Alabama. I can't believe how much we packed into 48 hours. Amelia and Blair (Areta's sister) came down from Arkansas to join us for the weekend. I miss being close to all my girlfriends.


We drove to Tuscaloosa for the Arkansas vs. Alabama baseball game. I soaked up every minute of that humid weather. I was in heaven.


Can you tell that we had a good time?


Areta took us to this great place called "Sips N Strokes." You bring your own adult beverage and have a painting class. The more we sipped, the better our paintings looked!!



And just for the record. I heard "Sweet home Alamama" four times in 48 hours.
