Road Tripping - Leg One

We gave Grant one day to recover from his trip home from Micronesia before hitting the road for a three-leg road trip. The first leg was Kansas City. 

Our friends Matt and Andrea had their second child, Ruth, and we needed to meet this little one. We had a wonderful time playing and seeing the sights in KC. It was nice to visit friends with small kids. Miles and Calvin had a blast playing trains. 

 

  Matt showed off his yummy blackberry bushes. 

 

 Molly was very interested in Ruth. And I can understand. Ruth was laid back and so cuddly. 

 We visited Union Station and loved seeing the miniature train museum.
