Mount Magazine State Park Getaway

We needed a little getaway from the routine of normal life (who doesn't, right?). Grant had some scheduled time off for a conference that he ended up not attending. We were able to reserve a cabin at Mount Magazine State Park instead. The area was quiet and provided some picturesque views. Mount Magazine is the highest point in Arkansas and overlooks the Arkansas River Valley. We did some hiking and cooking and relaxing. From here until the beginning of June, Grant will be studying for the final part of his board exam. This weekend getaway was the last break before massive studying takes place. Wish him luck!

Sitting with Daddy in the rocking chair was hilarious.

I would say this boy loves his Daddy.

Miles was being grumpy during this family shot.

Miles was not happy that I disrupted his exploring for a picture.

Pancake time.

Baby bump at 15 weeks.

Miles's favorite part of the cabin.

Living room and fireplace.

Our deck. It was a little windy this trip, so we didn't get to enjoy this as much as we had planned.
