Christmas without travel

Can you imagine waking up in your own bed on Christmas morning knowing you only have to travel 20 minutes to see family? We can testify that it is amazing. Traveling around Christmas is just purely a nightmare. We have had our gifts unwrapped by TSA and we have been through the pain of having all our gifts shipped. And this year we just threw them into the car. What a treat.

And this Christmas was even more special because my mom is also in Little Rock now. We have so much family here and around this time of year that is blessing and a half.

In a Christmas daze.

The joy of a stocking full of toys.

A clip on tie, just what I always wanted.

Happy about his new coat.

A good teeth picture.

Snow bib for our upcoming SLC trip.

Ready for the snow.

Really into the wrapping paper this year.

Cousins.

Andrew offered to help Miles unwrap his gift.

Morshedi gift opening.

The entire Morshedi clan!

Our son is the one tipping the bottle back. Yes, he is definitely ours!

I had such a great time visiting our families this year, but the whole time I was thinking about how maybe next year we'll just stay home. We had a laid back Thanksgiving this year, and it was the BEST. Imagining a similar travel-free Christmas sounds just delightful. I'm so happy you are close to family now!
