Post Nepal Camping

The first thing I would want to do after coming back to the US from hot Nepal is go camping, right? Well, that is what Grant wanted to do. Less than 24 hours after getting back home, we packed up the car to meet our friends for a weekend of camping.

Matt, Shireen, and Brook were staying in Vernal, UT for a final rotation of residency. We met them there and did some sightseeing at Dinosaur National Monument and then camped up the Uintas. It was our goodbye visit with them before they move to Alaska. We will miss them SO much.

Strawberry Reservoir stop on our way to Vernal. 27 weeks.

So happy to have my hubby home.

Dinosaur National Monument.

Awesome visitors center where you can see amazing dinosaur bones in the rock face.

27 weeks.

Look at all those bones.

Amazing petroglyphs.

Cooling off in the Green River.

Cool camp spot in the Uintas.

Taintors.

Getting ready for some evening fly fishing.

Matt caught a few cutthroat trout.

Grant practicing his casting.
Then we returned to SLC and air conditioning!

I absolutely love camping.. It's so much fun with close friends and family.. Looks like you and grant really had fun..did grant catch on with fly fishing? It's kinda hard, especially for little folks like me, give me a cast rod and reel and I can catch trout all day!!
