No, I'm not referring to Anna, although she does look pretty good in ski clothes. I'm referring to me...100.6 degrees Fahrenheit, to be exact. I hesitate to even mention this because my mom might be reading, but I've had a cold for the last few days and decided to go skiing today anyway. Anna tried to stop me, but we had already paid for the lift tickets. I wasn't going to let them go to waste. Besides, we wanted to go out and test-run the trails that we're going to ski on next weekend with my parents (ha!)
We had a great time! Anna has been skiing five times now, and I have been three. We skied our first black diamond run today (read about ski trail difficulty ratings here) and did very well. I only fell two or three times, but one of them was a doozy (see last picture below).
Here are a few pictures from today...check out the last one. I completely fell on my face in several feet of snow and Anna had to stop to take a picture. The thumbs-up is definitely sarcasm.

OMG, you said Grant was better! You neglected to mention that he was out skiing with a fever! Probably best not to mention it to the parental units until after the fact...Congratulations on the black diamond. I'm glad you're still intact.
Love, Mom/Mil
I'm really jealous about all the skiing. Seriously.
Nathan, you know there is one way to rectify the jealousy situation...it's called Southwest, LR to Phoenix to SLC.
