Wonderful visit with Mom

My mom came to visit over Labor Day weekend and boy did we have a ball. It was a joy to have her here and show off our new city. We had a packed schedule that included a trip to Park City, hearing the tabernacle choir perform, Oktoberfest at a ski resort, the farmer's market, the planetarium, lots of shopping, watching movies, cooking, and pedicures of course. (Grant did not participate in the last item.)

We had family friends visit the weekend before, so we have really been able to explore more of the city. Grant and I are seasoned tour guides now!

Grant had to work most of the weekend so it was more of a mother daughter trip. Yesterday, we woke up early and I took mom to the airport. After that it was off to work. My first day went very smoothly. I sure was tired afterwards. I crashed on the couch and fell into a deep sleep around 8:30 p.m. Now I have to remember how to do this whole work thing again.
