Deep breath

The Governor just announced that there will be no more in person school for the rest of academic year. I know this was expected, but it is still a lot to take in. I’ve been getting in a rhythm with teaching the kids with the online videos, but it’s just tough for kids to learn from a screen.

I’m feeling a little more at peace and relaxed with the situation.

We have weekly virtual piano lessons. Today we gave our wonderful and funny teacher some clothes so he didn’t have a floating head. Gotta find them humor in this situation.

We are also missing Mimi. She’s been doing drive by visits where we talk from a distance. Molly wrote her a note, “I wish I could hug you Mimi.” It’s hard for Littles to understand what is going on in this crazy new world.
