Cross/Lockwood Visit

We had a fun-filled 4th with our Lockwood Dallas family. The kids were in a flurry of crafting, dancing, and fort building. It was a joy to see them play like I used to with their parents. 

Grant picked out some eye-friendly fireworks complete with swim goggles for the kids. The highlight of the trip was a Morshedi Persian potluck complete with Persian dancing. My Aunt Rachel and Uncle Ben were out of the country for our wedding so it was the first time for them to meet that side of the family. 

We swam and ate and did cardboard sledding. It was a perfect summer trip.
