Beaches and Babies

We ventured to the beach again this year with our travel buddies the Hudsons. This year we rented a house that was about as close to the ocean as you can possibly get. We spent a week sipping on cocktails (except Sarah who is pregnant!), playing in the sand, and corralling babies and toddlers. It was the most relaxing vacation you can get with four children under three.

Grant was in charge of beach drinks.

Miles, once again, loved the sand.

Molly was happy as long as she wasn't touching the sand.

Beer and castle building. Good combo.

Bonus...we had a sand bulldozer nearby that provided some good toddler entertainment.

The boys and their toys.

Molly took some good beach naps.

We had a nice tent set up.

Games after the kids were asleep.

Snacks on the deck.

Where we ate most meals.

Beach buds.

Best of friends.

Our attempt at a family picture.

We found some teenagers who wanted to play with our kids...score!

Sarah's annoucement of their third baby. She is so crafty.

Going on a beach adventure.

Ready to roll.
We are hoping to do this beach trip every summer. It is such a nice change of pace. Now, if we could only figure out how to skip the 12 hour drive.
