Four Years (and a day)!

I can't believe it has been a month since my last post. Italy was so amazing that normal life just didn't seem worth posting about. We have pretty much been working the past month. Grant has been studying in all his spare time for his Ophthalmology boards. This isn't the real boards, but the residents have to take them each year to prepare for the one that will count. It has put some stress on him.

Yesterday was our fourth wedding anniversary. We had  a relaxed evening with Chinese takeout. Our Italy trip was our anniversary gift, so we kept things pretty low key. But sometimes a nice night in is just what you need in the middle of a hard work week.

Below is a picture from when we first started dating eight years ago. Don't we look young? Hard to believe we have been together so long.

I feel so blessed that we found each other. Grant really is my soulmate and I love him more than ever. Thanks to everyone who has been part of our support system over the years.
