Listen to the Pumpkin

This year I decided to send a message with my pumpkin carving..."GO VOTE." If you have been thinking about not voting because you are sick of hearing political analysts carry on and on, maybe the pumpkin can change your mind.

The other person in the photo is my friend Ashley who works with me at Ann Taylor Loft. After carving I took the pumpkin guts and made some killer roasted pumpkin seeds. Grant was leery, but I converted him to the way of the pumpkin seeds.

Here is a great YouTube video about not voting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vtHwWReGU0

Pumpkin seeds, when made correctly, are the bomb diggity. I would use a different term, but I think that sums it up best.

Love the pumpkin. I haven't actually talked to you guys about the election, but I think I've got a pretty good idea which way the Morshedi household is leaning. I think it might actually work out this time too, but I've learned my lesson from 2004. I won't be counting on anything until election night is over.
